The light blue cotton bag measures ten by fifteen centimetres, with an instruction card attached. The ochre balls hold the colourful summer-flower mix, the grey ones the wildflower meadow, the brown ones tall sunflowers. So you can place them deliberately — or throw everything together and let it surprise you.
Sow from March to May; flowering runs from July to October depending on the species. Popular as an Easter gift because twelve balls fill a nest nicely, but it works just as well for a birthday or a small thank-you.
