The balls are about two centimetres across and ochre in colour; inside are calendula, cornflower, corn poppy, zinnia, phacelia and around twenty more species. The tag explains in pictures and words how it works.

Throw from March to May onto loose soil, wait for rain or water, then be patient. After a few weeks the quick species flower, the slow ones follow. One bag is enough for a balcony box or a small corner of bed — and a gift that cannot be put away in a cupboard.

  • 6 balls, hand-rolled, approx. 2 cm
  • Jute bag with tag
